A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR

We each possess a unique gift from God: our affection. This “affection” certainly includes what we love and care about, and what fills our thoughts and imaginations. This special gift comes with great responsibility. What are you doing with yours? The world would tell us to do whatever we want, or what feels good. God commands us to do something very specific with our affection, that is to set it on things above. We must direct our affection toward our God and His eternal kingdom; the temptations here on earth must be rejected. Our desire this summer at Living Water Farms is that we would create an environment where young people can be encouraged, challenged, and led by example to “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:2
